Terms & Conditions

These terms cover using the Pawloma website and booking Pawloma pet care. Pawloma is operated by Paloma Collective Pty Ltd from Maitland, NSW. By using the site or booking care, you're agreeing to what's below.

Care is application-based

Pawloma is a small, home-based service, so care isn't automatic. Submitting an application or an enquiry doesn't create a booking. A booking only exists once Pawloma has accepted it in writing and confirmed the dates, the service and the price. We may decline or end care where a pet isn't a safe fit for our home, our household or the other guests.

What you tell us matters

You agree that the information you give us about your pet is accurate and complete — health, behaviour, bite history, medication, feeding, allergies and anything else that affects their care. You confirm your pet is up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatment as appropriate for their species and age, and that you own the pet or are authorised to arrange their care.

Health, vets and emergencies

If your pet becomes unwell or injured in our care, we'll try to contact you and your emergency contact first. If we can't reach you and your pet needs help, you authorise us to seek veterinary treatment on your behalf, and you're responsible for the cost of that treatment. Pawloma isn't a veterinary service and nothing on this site is veterinary, behavioural or training advice.

Prices, payment and changes

Prices shown on this site are in Australian dollars and are current at the time of publishing. The price that applies to you is the one on your written booking confirmation. Wedding VIP is quoted from a base price plus any extras and venue travel, calculated at the time you build your package. Payment terms, deposits and the cancellation and rescheduling terms for your booking are set out in your booking confirmation — read it, because that's the agreement.

Pawloma Family and referrals

Pawloma Family accounts are for approved clients. Keep your login to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. Referral rewards are governed by the referral program terms.

Pawfect Match and The Guide

Pawfect Match is an educational lifestyle tool and The Guide is general information — helpful, but not professional advice and not a guarantee about any individual animal. Always do your own research and talk to a vet, reputable breeder or rescue before bringing a pet home.

Our content

The Pawloma name, logo, photography, copy and quiz content belong to us. You're welcome to share links; please don't reuse our photos or copy commercially without asking.

Liability

We take our duty of care seriously, but animals are animals. To the extent permitted by law, Pawloma isn't liable for illness, injury, escape, loss or damage that happens despite reasonable care, or for pre-existing conditions and behaviour we weren't told about. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page and applies from the date it's published. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Your privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy.
