We run routes rather than a scattergun map, so dogs get proper time on the lead instead of us sitting in traffic. Here's how the week actually looks.
Tuesdays
Our Newcastle route covers Merewether, Merewether Heights, Bar Beach, The Junction, Cooks Hill, The Hill, Newcastle East and Hamilton South, plus New Lambton, Adamstown, Hamilton, Lambton, Mayfield and the inner-city pockets around them. Beach-adjacent suburbs get the good sniffy loops.
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
Maitland, East Maitland, Lorn, Bolwarra, Morpeth, Rutherford, Telarah, Thornton, Metford, Ashtonfield, Lochinvar and out through Cessnock, Lovedale, Pokolbin and Branxton. This is home turf, so most weeks there's room to be flexible.
